The new neighborhood market transforms the city center
The new covered market in the central square opened its doors this weekend, attracting over 2,000 visitors on the first day. This project, supported by the municipality and local merchants, offers about fifty stalls featuring fresh produce, regional crafts, and culinary specialties.
Residents particularly appreciated the dining area with a heated terrace, as well as the free cooking workshops organized every Saturday morning. "This is exactly what our neighborhood needed," says Valérie Gaillard, a local resident. "We've found real conviviality, and the prices remain affordable."
The market is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. A free parking lot with 120 spaces has been set up nearby. The organizers are already planning to expand the offering with a summer night market starting in June.
